A leader cannot over-communicate. This is empirically true - for every thing you think "they're probably sick of hearing about this". It's probably a mix of: * [[Illusion of transparency]] on the leader's part * Higher-level direction is not as salient in the day-to-day work for ICs so it literally gets forgotten at some level * Even "X is still the plan" is valuable information, it's not obvious that the plan hasn't changed! #published 2025-02-09
