* **Clear**: exactly who, is going to do exactly what, exactly when (not "early next week", but "by 10am on Tuesday"), with full commitment from everyone.
* **Renegotiated as needed**: The moment you know you won't be able to keep an agreement, which by definition should be before the agreement deadline, you must renegotiate it.
* **With consequences when broken**: If you do break the agreement (as opposed to renegotiating), you take full responsibility. If it happens repeatedly, there must be consequences.
